Our Hall of Fame will have a video of the greats pitchers that have walked through the doors of our Academy over the years.

Sara Norwood- Ceres H.S. - Coastal Carolina University
#3 in the state of California high school all-time wins list (89)
1993 Modesto Bee High School Player of the Year
Schlarship to Coastal Carolina DI- Rookie of the Year in the Big South in '94

Danielle de la Porte- Ceres H.S.- UC Davis- "D" holds the record for most career wins at Ceres H.S. with 92 wins against 16 losses. She is in the top #8 All-Time wins in Cal.
1997 Modesto Bee Player of the Year! "D" pitched 3 season at UC Davis on a scholarship. She pitched Davis in  the regionals 3 times and the college world series DII losing to Kenesaw State in the semi final 1-0. That was her final game. What a career!  "D" is the bar that we hold for someone to be in  our Hall of Fame. The Best of the Best!

Veronica Giddens- Beyer H.S.- Crieghton U- Merced College- Western Kentucky-
"Giddyup" was Modesto Bee All- District pitcher in '96-97. "Giddyup" transferred back from Criegton (Scholarship) out of high school- played 2 years at Merced College earning California Junior College All-State 1st team pitcher. She went on to W. Kentucky on a scholarship playing numerous positions and pitching for the Hill Toppers.  "Geddyup" maybe the most versatile softball player to ever come out of area. She could make the ball jump-up, torpedo down and hit her change hitting the gun  in the 62-65 range. play every position except catcher in the field. hit first, drop a bunt, steal 2nd and 3rd. Giddyup could hit in the 3-5 spot in the batting order, drive in runs or go yard! She is a Hall of Famer!

Amy Cucinella- Ceres H.S.- 1998 Modesto Bee Payer of the Year. Amer had the unbelievable season in 1998. Amer had to come in behind de la Porte who graduated the season before. Ceres was being written off by everyone in the softball community... Everyone took notice when the CV Sacrifice choose to pitch Amer against the OC Batbusters instead of the two most prolific high school pitchers of their time... de la Porte and Giddens,  who just came back from their senior trips.  Amer took the Batbusters 9 inning scoreless, literally having the whole ball park watching! Amer lead Ceres to the league title and sections! Amer was not only dominating on the mound but she was Ceres offense. over an 800 on base percentage, Amer never sat down. Batting first she stole 26 bases and led the team in runs scored. An injury sidelined her in her senior year... so she made 1999 Modesto Bee All-District team at 2nd base! Amer never played in college... Believe me- before her injury she was putting the ball up their in the mid 60's with command of everything.  At the time she was the quickest from our area!
Amer is deserving to represent the "Best of the Best". By the way she is a lawyer!

Jimmy Dyson's Pitching School is unique in how we conduct our lessons...
We learn and have Fun!    We Video- the student is the Star.  We have structured Workouts - Some times as long as an hour and thirty minutes.  Students have to compete.   Students pitch next to some of the best college and high school pitchers in northern California!  Parents and students are able to view the ball flight to the catchers on our TV monitors... You hear "WOW" throughout the Academy.  Students have access to counselor, coaches, and parents that have been there, done that!  Jimmy's does not charge his students for their college pitching DVD.
